Looks like they're going to have space set aside for big con games.
So, who wants to run something. We can probably do four or so.
Thursday whenever Friday Evening or during the day while whatever tourney is happening Saturday Preferably after the GT. I know we could do something during the day but I think it would be best to have all Infinity players available (locals) playing in this. Sunday whenever maybe even two different games at once.

What's the definition of "Big"? Points? Table size?

Multi player convention games like we've run on Sundays the last two adepticons.

What do people think of a 500pt game but must have a minimum of 2 TAGs?

Multiple players is important. Can't sell tickets to a two player game. Minimum 6 and up to ten is manageable.

Something like this.
A tag combat game. Each player has a tag and a support staff ( crew) that provides an order pool. Points are awarded for kills. And turns beyond a certain point survived.
I think something similar was done at feast of blades.
The one I want to do is a bike combat game capsules vs clowns.
A zombie / outbreak survival game with in game missions. Each player controls three minis and attempts to complete missions before his opponents teams. Zombies are impetuous with all orders.

The tag combat sounds cool. How would points be done? 150pts? Must take one tag the rest on support? Must include 0-1 Engineers or hacker? 150 would allow for one Avatar and nothing else.
One way around the number of orders is that everyone gets automatically 2 orders + one for each order generating figure. So even the Avatar would have three orders.

I would be up for running a table. I was playing on doing a Spec Op base raid. Hoping to get all the pieces and ideas together to start testing out at New Game some time next month. Essentially an O-12 team has to destroy a new super weapon before it completes it trials. Each player bring s three figure team to destroy the super weapon (some large mecha type figure) and also try to complete secret personal objectives.
Or if you are just looking for a second set of hands to help run one of the big tables I am game for that too.

I think we can do as many of these as we want. So have at it. Let me know when you're doing this at NGIT. I'd like to come out for that.

What about an Arena style idea--where each player has the option of playing a base line infantry (aguacile, keisotsu, line kazak, etc) with no starting equipment, but having the booty lvl 1 skill?
Equipment caches (based off the booty table) would be placed around the large table, and then let the mayhem commence? X # of players enter, 1 player leaves (Who rules barter town?).
Thoughts?

How would you handle the order pool?
Two per guy?

Hey that sounds like a death match or I think they call it Aristeia match. I perfer calling it the Highlander!!
For orders I would think three per guy would work. The problem is with only one line trooper per player they will go down pretty fast. Would they have more than one wound? If they do have more than one wound you could work it that as they take wounds they reduce their order pool... and a crit kils them outright regardless of number of wounds.
Or if they will only have the one wound they can have "clones" that can come back into play. I like the arena style idea but with inactive shooting coming from all angles line troopers are really vunerable.

Make it more maze-like,to limit open fire lanes and limit the order pool to 2 per model to prevent rambo-shenanigans.
Give everyone a free automedkit for advanced survivability.
Dynamics should be interesting--alliances, using booty to pick up equipment from the fallen, etc.

Why not use that Arena style set up but with Spec-Ops models? Give them then a few exp to work with.
Otherwise it's going to be a lot of combi vs combi vs rifle
