John, for the background I would put a pic of one of the terrain boards from adepticon. also use tile format for posts, after a certain number of posts it's a pain to scroll through pages and pages.
with tile format you can have about 9 posts per page before having to scroll. also add links widget to the side bar, link to infinity site, the forum, adepticon page etc...

Also, change the title to something infinity related. maybe chicago-maya-sphere or chicago-pano-lounge, motto- Where Infinity gamers come to drink and relax.
