Would it be easier to paint pre assembly? I Most likely I will do that for the rest, but I wanted to get at least one assembled to check the details. Based on this I added a few more grills to this building type this morning and some more exterior/interior detailing to the largest building before emailing final designs to fantasy arc.
Also thought about how to add on or correct details with 1/16" acrylic overlays if I don't like the look of the details on the final. Upshot of the 1/16 overlays is that they will add another some dimension and scale.

Also, thanks for the votes of confidence on this.
Right now this is on schedule. While I still need to finish the streets and corporate plaza area I want to get the buildings back, painted and generally laid out to confirm playability and see if I need to make any street/plaza changes before I proceed to much further on these.
As, there is probably a few weeks hole in my schedule are there any ideas that anyone wants me to pursue, or should I go on to other designs I have been floating?

Looks like we are set to go full steam ahead on both Ken's lasers. Given this I might have some of the bigger pieces (unassembled) at next week's meet-up at Plus.

Piles of floors and major vertical structural elements. Some pieces have sections that are a little flimsy so I am going to glue laminate them together today. Attachments:

Need to confirm the process for painting MDF; first seal with cheap hair spray (aquanet or similar), then apply base primer layer, the proceed with painting?

The aqua net isn't required. It'll help save on paint. Myself and Krog have been priming/base coating with the 2x coverage Krylon. It works fine.
Did ken use the same material as his corridor set? That stuff eats paint.
If you need the garage for spraying let me know.

If I remember right Ken uses some kind birch typically (as it holds together better), but switched to MDF for me for cost savings. Glad he did with this new knowledge.
May need to take you up on the garage space offer. Not only is M getting paranoid about how things might effect "them", but I tried to set up today and it appears there is not enough room without a lot of furniture rearrangement. Damn you big terrain.

Just a quick update. Since I finally have the floors for the arced buildings glued and dried I did a quick dry fit of them morning. Gorgos for scale. Attachments:

Hey Rick, if your offer to do a couple more Doofenschmirtz evil speakers still stands, both buildings have those sail-like AHU enclosures which I could hide speakers in after I get a back piece cut.
