So whatcha think is coming.
WIP roll to place all deployable markers. The jammer does this now, it kinda makes sense to me.
Sepsitor clarification. Hopefully they streamline those rules.

Make CC a little less iffy. Right now it seems more down to luck. I think figures with high cc skills should have more that one attack. Like CC17 +1, CC18 +2, etc.
I agree on Sepsitor. At least it should have a BTS modifier.

1: All rules streamlined and in one easily codified and indexed location. 2: Clarify some of the goofy rulings (Climbing+, Sixth Sense, et al) to remove some of the goofiness in the rulings. 3: Fix/clarify sepsitor. Easily the nastiest thing in the game (if you have a cube)
It would be nice to see USAriadna, Tunguska & Invincible Army in the book as well, but I don't think that's likely.

Well the one thing I know I want it sounds like they are doing... a uniform height for all figures. So a 25mm based figure occupies a cylinder that is Xmm high. This will help line of sight arguements, especially for the guys (we have a few out in DeKalb) that like doing fancy bases.
Other than that as stated before me, I would love to see CC revamped a bit. Nothing more frustrating than moving a ninja into position only to have his attack be left up to chance. More attacks are great but I get the same affect if I equip with explosive CC weapons. One hit scores me three armor checks for my enemy... and in my case I am usually attacking with a normal roll. Problem I have is if my PH is 12 and I hit a light trooper with a 1 AV then my opponent has a 40% chance to avoid the damage and hit back (assuming my ninja is MA3). The odds get worse the heavier armored the opponent is. Its a shooting game, I understand that but CC could use a little love.

Also make it a bit more cinematic. I would like some cool wire-fu!

I think cc is fine. Taking the ninja example, you successfully got into cc without getting killed first but you would have been better off getting into your good range and camo first striking from cover. Putting your opponent at -9 to hit if he survives is way better than cc.
If you really want to get into cc with someone spend the extra 8 points and get the oniwabon. Better cc, Ma and his par ph is offset by the mono weapon. He's the better tool for the job.

I think there's a time for CC and a time to shoot. Sometimes it's better to take the 85% chance PH 12 Exp shot and if you don't kill the target, plan on tying him up in CC the following turn.
It's definitely situational and should be the lesser part of the combat game.

There were talks about Shotguns getting buffed in the new edition along with re-working of weapon range bands

I am mainly looking forward to things being cleaned up I do not think close combat need a buff at all myself in a game with guns you should be shooting each other not wanting to get into close combat. I think updating the loss of lutiniet and retreat rules that has been rumored will be good.
I think a bit more diversity is some of the guns could be fun as well.
I think they will tweek the rules a bit more for faster shorter games as of now they seem to be written a bit more for longer games.
Finally I would like to have my hand just on one nice big full color rule book that is twice the size of the old one for all the stuff they have to cram into it.

Why can't they just switch the mini out with a normal sized one for Los? I like big ornate bases. Using them shouldn't have an effect on game play one way or another, but why should there be a rule for something you as a player decided to do?
I'm starting to think that some of the rules issues are from people being stubborn about how they think it should be and not how it is. We don't seem to have that issue here, thankfully
The actual Los rules could use some more gooder writing bit after a fee reads they make sense. Other than "actual terrain in the way to check Los" weren't any issues at Adepticon that I remember.

Ya I agree with this and I belive it is what the rule states now for checking LOS that is swaping out a mini for one in a regular pose. I am not a fan at all of every mini just being a cylinder on his base I hope the stay away from that all together.

There's lots of chatter/rambling on the main forums about trying to "balance" HMGs and make them less sniper like (or something). Which is funny, as the heavy machinegun (specifically the M2 .50 cal) was used several times as a sniper platform during the Viet Nam War, most famously by Carlos Hathcock Jr. when he made the longest confirmed kill (only eclipsed a few years ago in Afghanistan) at 2500 yards.
