I have been playing this game quite a bit lately. Anyone else into it?
As prepainted figures go they are actually pretty good. The larger ships (Rebel Transport right now, Tantive IV Blockcade Runner next week) where really detailed and well painted. The game itself is well written rule wise and I feel captures the dogfighting from Star Wars well.

I have some minis for it have not gotten into the big stuff or played since they came out but it is a fun game to pick up I found that you can get into it for around $100 and have what you need and no painting required so that was a plus. I thinks lots of stores play it as well another reason I picked it up.

It's a great game. Fun, cool that the ships are actually scaled correctly (the designers were granted access to lucas arts and measured the original models used in the movies), and it's relatively fast and furious.
I've got a handful of ships, but nothing major, investment-wise.

A small group of us have been playing regularly at New Game on Thursday nights. It has been fun... last couple of weeks we did the epic play rules to use the big ships. The transports, at least, while they are a giant pain to fight against are not game changing. In both games we played the rebels lost...
Big tourney for it coming up at New Game on the 31st. The Assault on Imdaar Alpha event... should be a good time.

I played like 2-3 games, and had about 5 ties, 1 bomber, vader, interceptor, and the reverse of rebels + yt 1300. But no one really would play of my group of friends, so i sold it off.

I've had the same problem with my group. Which is why I generally won't buy into a game until they agree to play. (IE, why I've been holding off on WWX to date).
I have a crap-ton of Dust that's just collecting well...dust. Bartertown soon for that, methinks.

That is a shame... its funny because I have a friend who introduces me to new games. He actaully is the one that pushed me over into Infinity. But as I get more into it and get more people interested in playing it he drops off his interest and barely plays after that.
X-Wing has been pretty fun so far and the larger Epic games, while 40K long, have been enjoyable.
