From IJW's stuff?
Change to Sniper Rifles is probably a good thing overall.
BTS? I guess we'll see how that works. Interventor going to 9 bts seems a bit crazy.
No word on shotguns.
I like the change to MSV--makes more sense that way.

Loss of Lieutenant change seems to make Religious almost superfluous. Though it's a positive change for ITS.
As is, you loose your LT in ITS and it's almost impossible to recover. (unless, as in Lifeblood, you've already obtained your major objectives and secured a win)

Snipers becoming better and cheaper while HMG's are more expensive and has shorter range...not sure I like that. Also, 6 pages of hacking?! WTF...

Although I did forget the few Religious I could have used. The sister with the sniper rifle could have done something. I'm not sure if the Sister with HMG could have done anything at that point but still... I should have remembered.

I really like the combat camo change. I kinda hope they change it so that there are no more unopposed actions. Laying a mine or other deployable could be a WIP skill. Even direct template weapons could roll at bs stat ignoring camo, odd and cover. I would be happy with direct template attacks being a wip to simulate the nerve required to stand and spray with the weapon.

Exactly like what happened to you. It would have been even worse had I moved a unit into close combat. You wouldn't have been able to elect a new Lt then, as you would need to reserve one order for CC on your turn.
LoL is a game ender a deep majority of the time in ITS.

I forgot about the combat camo change. Still shifts things heavily into the favor of the camo'd unit, which is nice, but still allows the potential to respond without having to wait if you survive first. In essence, it really still favors the camo unit significantly.
Although I wonder how SS2 will impact that. It seems to nerf Sixth Sense a bit.

Ss wouldn't get the -3 surprise attack penalty. And it still allows you to react out of LOF.
At least that's what I'd do.

I also think MSV1 being able to see TO camo is good. a -3 but still better than nothing.

I like all of those changes. They all seem like very good changes for the game. Individual thoughts (mostly based on just the first post): * Combat Camo: Makes things a lot simpler if slightly weird fluff-wise (though this universe also has anime/manga influences, so it can work, lol ). It'll help speed up the game a ton, I think, not having to wait until the result of the combat camo attack to determine if you get to shoot back. * Sniper rifles: Kind of a meh change on its own, but it's kind of weird that their +3 range band is now longer (12-36 = 24" band, vs. 16-48 = 32" band), they no longer will have a -6 range band, and it's going to be getting cheaper, too... They must think that the extra minuses in the closer ranges and only having two shots to the HMG's four balances it out or something... Overall game plus, though, for making all range bands multiples of 8" for streamline purposes. * MSV1: Certainly a major plus to armies without MSV2, major buff. Very happy for my less technologically advanced friends or even for my own Aconteccimento sectoral. * Kinematica: Interesting skill. As it's something new, it's mostly just something interesting in a new unit entry's kit. Doesn't really seem more or less powerful, but it'll certainly take some risk to get some benefit out of it. * BTS: Mostly just a clarification, though I wonder what will be different about Viral, E/M, and Hacking (just to name a few) that makes that BTS 9 balanced on Interventors... * Combi Rifles: Too vague to comment on, and I can't even think of any speculations for how they'd change it... * LoL: Definitely a welcome change for the ITS scene that makes things very fair and makes sense from a fluff perspective, though I wonder what they'll be doing to Religious to make those points worthwhile unless they just make it cheaper...
