I'm in. I'd like to try Lifeblood. I don't think I've seen that used yet. I'm sick of the same ones all the time. I know some are a pain to accomplish but at least it's variety.

Anyone interested in adding jmeis' idea for a painting score? If your army is fully painted you automatically receive one of your classified objective points.
If it comes to it we could use a modified version of Adepticons rules for painting.
ALL models must be painted to a 3-color minimum standard unless otherwise specified in the event rules. This means that an honest attempt to paint all models MUST be exhibited and that 3 colors have not been simply applied to circumvent this policy. A panel of three other players chosen at random have the final say in what constitutes the spirit of this policy. Two out of three have to agree that the army is painted. As a general rule, if someone feels the need to justify why a model is completed, it probably isn’t. Given the current state of bases in the game there will be no basing requirement.

I think you mean Antennae Field, right?
I'm down with the painting score, but for 2/3 of the missions, people with painted armies auto-succeed on their classified objective (there being only 1 CO for QC and AF).

SEIZE THE ANTENNAE MISSION OBJECTIVES » For each Seized Antenna at the end of the scenario (3 Objective Points). » Each player has 1 Classified Objective (1 Objective Point). DEPLOYMENT Side A and Side B: Both players will deploy on opposite sides of the game table, in an area 12 inches deep. It is not allowed to deploy in base contact with an Antenna. SCENARIO SPECIAL RULES Game table size: 48 x 48 inches SEIZE THE ANTENNAE There are 3 Antennae, one of them placed in the center of the table, and the other two in different halves of the gametable, each of them 12 inches from the center and 24 inches from the edge of the table (See map below). The Antennae must be represented by a Transmission Antenna Marker (TRANS. ANTENNA) or with a scenery piece of the same diameter (such as the Communications Array by Warsenal or the Sat Station Antenna by Customeeple). To Seize an Antenna it is necessary that a Specialist Troop be in base contact with the Antenna, spend one Short Skill of an Order, or an ARO, and succeed at a Normal WIP Roll. If the roll is failed, this can be repeated as many times as necessary, each time spending the corresponding Short Skill of an Order, or ARO and making the roll. 24” DEPLOYMENT ZONE A A player can Seize an Antenna which has been previously Seized by his adversary by using the same procedure. In such a situation, that Antenna stops counting as being Seized by the enemy. Possessed (POS) or Immobilized (IMM) Markers can be used to mark the Seized Antennae. It is recommended each player uses a different kind of Marker. SPECIALIST TROOPS In this scenario, only Doctors, Engineers, Forward Observers, Hackers, Paramedics and troops possessing the Chain of Command Special Skill are considered to be Specialist Troops. Hackers, Doctors and Engineers cannot make use of Repeaters or G: Servant models to perform tasks reserved to Specialist Troops. A Specialist Troop who has been affected by E/M Special Ammunition and has his weapons and equipment Disabled can still accomplish the Objectives of this scenario. END OF THE MISSION This scenario has a limited time frame, so it will automatically finish at the end of the third game turn. If one of the players starts his active turn in the Retreat! state, the game will end at the end of that player’s turn. CAPTION Antenna MAIN OBJECTIVES CLASSIFIED DEPLOYMENT ZONE B REMEMBER Troops possessing the Specialist Troop Special Skill can accomplish the different tasks the Specialist Troops perform in this mission. 12” 12”

I'm not sure if you saw the earlier discussion. This stems from the east coast guys having a co tourney and giving a point each round to painted armies. The winner kinda only won because his stuff was painted. We don't seem to have a problem with getting stuff painted for Adepticon but regular tourneys through the year are a pewter fest. ITS doesn't require painted figs and neither do the stores we do tournaments at. It would help the hobby get exposure if people see all the painted terrain and minis when they walk through a tourney. Jp came up with this method, I like it because it doesn't give you anything extra but makes the games easier for doing something. You're rewarded but it shouldn't throw off the balance of scoring.

So do I finish more Tohaa, or paint up a QK for this?

Eventually I'd like to go even beyond painting. If it's one thing I think Infinity has been lacking in is personal stories or themes to your force. I know some are only into the game as a game but I really like the fluff as well. If it's one thing that GW had right was the ability to create your own backgrounds. Your own marine chapter, eldar craftworld, etc. I don't think a point for best background would be all that bad.

Brian, I think that's getting a bit too far afield into the realm of comp. I'm all for painted armies--even though I'm not a good painter by any stretch. John: Thanks for the clarification re: the Antennae. Again--I'm good for the point for painting, just pointing out the potential issue. But a two-list system will make up for that.

@scadunga. We rarely do this one so I thought I'd throw it in.
I should clarify that it's done by round and list.
So if your round one list is fully painted you get the point. Then you play your other list in round two and it's not finished no point for that round and you have to go for the classified objective.
If the mission calls for two classified objectives a painted army will only count for one of them. You still will have to roll for and do the second one.
