Ah. Didn't think to look at the conversion thread just most of the JSA ones.
The ones I ordered are smaller. Those don't look too hard to do. He sculpted them but for those of us with less skill, cut a circle out of card or plastic cut a radius line to form the cone. After those are dry cover them in green stuff an carve the lines with the back of an exacto knife.
I've seen something like what the bamboo guy used. Kinda looks like he cut up a placemat or a sushi rolling mat. Next time I'm in Chinatown I'll look around. Not for me, I don't base my models.

I may give home sculpting a try and see how it works. Have to pick up more green stuff, though. I think what I have is ancient.

I would definitely be interested in anything that is easier to work with than GS. My GS skills are slightly behind my painting skills.
Which tells me I need to spend a lot more time practicing both.
