So I am trying to think of what my paint scheme will be when I pick up models. With a new and improved airbrush, I will be able to take advantage of my minitaire paint set. For nomads I am thinking of going with a neon evangelion inspired paint scheme. Having NMM purple on most of the armor. Black armore with neon green stripes or patters such as hexagons as accents. With bits of orange and yellow thrown in on accessories. The NMM purple might be the hardest, but I would really like to take my time with painting these models and make them close to a showcase army as I can. I am a fan of tall bases with lots of scenery on it, but that would make my army have a harder time with cover. Not a fan of true line of sight when it comes to minis, cause of poses and such. Malifaux has a rule that depending on base size of a model, the mini takes up all of that base area up to the standard hieght according to the base size, sort of like a cylinder. I hope 3rd edition uses this rule.

I love evangelion, definitely go with that scheme.
Los is changing in 3rd. They've used the word "silhouette" which makes me think something along the lines of a cylinder rule. They are doing it to encourage the type of things you want to do, I say go for it.

I mean it makes since that your mini is constantly moving around in their own person space (the base) and not standing completely still in the pose they are fixed in.
