Son I got a new Tohaa army to put together and I am trying to decied what type of base to put them on. I was thinking of trying out some rocks or something maybe a bit different. I am not sure if I want to invest in more resin basses for them or not any idea that people have are welcomed. still kicking around all sorts of ideas but I was thinking of trying to do something a bit different that I can try to model myself.

There's a couple of sculpts that are standing on rocks. I'd go forest.

ya I was kind of thinking forest but with some rocks still like the moss covverd rock in a forest that you might see

I would say it depends on the paint scheme and how you want the models to stand out or blend in with the base. So many options. If you are going forest with rocky patches, secret weapon make forest leaves, but you would have to grab them quick, cause I heard they are being discontinued due to supplier not making them.

Ya I am still debating how I am going to paint them as well I was thinking of maybe doing a camo scheam on them with either the orange the regularly have or maybe making it red instead. Otherwise I was thinking of maybe doing a purple on them though I may save that for another faction.
