I'm not sure how everyone else feels but I'd be interested in a break from ITS scenarios. Besides writing our own scenarios we could try yams again.
My only issue with yams is the lack of required specialist. You can build a "Killy " army and just stomp someone.
Any suggestions to change this?

Yams is the card based system?
How many cards do you normally draw and choose?

I think we did draw 6 play four the last time we used it.

What about double points if the card is completed by a specialist, from the ITS list ?

Make 2 decks, draw 3 from each keep 2 from each. One deck for killy and one for specialists.

My issue isn't with the cards it's that there's no incentive to take anything other than an annihilation type list.

You can still use the ITS objectives. Since YAMS is supposed to be 4 turns do the normal draw six keep 4, then roll for 2 classified objectives. total of 6 pts possible with 4 turns to complete, very doable.

I like Drobuff's idea.
It still doesn't quite mitigate the kill 'em all, unless you put in the criteria if you wipe the opponent, you cannot spend following turns collecting objectives?

I'm willing to try whatever honestly. CB is full of people with evil minds, though I do want to catch the GenCon tourny (maybe) and see it how that goes.

You mean the classified at 2 points per?

I like it. Great idea Dro.
Draw six keep four = 4 potential points Two "double or Quits"= 2 more potential points Two classified worth 2 op = 4 potential point
For a total of 10 op per round and still keep Victory Points for a tie breaker.
I think we'll try this next.

also for the cards, I used the baseball card top load card holders. hard plastic, just print once and don't have to worry about printing again.

I had like eight sets of them. I'm not sure where they are now. Paper with magic card backers in regular sleeves
