What we have going on for 2014, a summary

Alright, I'm going to compile events and info here, mostly so I can keep track of it. Please add things that I'm either forgetting or just blanked on. I'll use this for any pertinent news.

Events

• Tournament Primers. We should do the Annihilation, team, and Spec Ops Campaigns for sure. I sent an email to G+ to schedule some dates. I'm not against spreading them to different locations
• Demos. We are apparently in the great hall this year, meaning potentially a ton more exposure. We should have the tables manned at all times at least one person preferably two. The demo armies are in the process of being redone to be the ones straight from the QuickStart rules, so one for each faction.
• Thursday evening Spec Ops Campaign tourney. This is one of the new ones for season 5 I got nothing, I'm sure it's going to require a bunch of paperwork
• Friday Early Team Tournament again this one is new, we have a bunch of space for this one I'm not sure we're going to fill it. I'm hoping when cb tells us what it is it'll get people excited
• Friday Evening Annihilation. Pretty simple 400 point two list capped at two combat groups Only the annihilation scenario is used. I would like at least one person with me for judging. I'm worried about what gamesmanship could come out of this format
• Saturday Grand Tournament. The big one it will be in whatever the standard Season 5 format/ missions are. I've got this scheduled for 6 rounds that will give us a definitive undefeated winner after the dust settles. I really hope we sell out. I need opinions on additional awards for this one.
• Sunday Big Game. Party Crasher. Stupid name, I know. This is already full, I spoke to Gellar about using his boarding action table to double its size. I have enough morats to do two, not enough EI
• ? Saved for later

Zach is working on some terrain files to be burned, most importantly the ship for the big game. I have been in contact with Bill at Warsenal about getting them made when he is done. He is willing to look at the files and see what he can do. He also offered us a table at wholesale, I dunno if I can swing more terrain. If anyone else is interested let me know. I put him in touch with Adepticon higher ups about selling his product in our area.

I'm all for the bowling shirts too. I could try to come up with a logo.

Could we talk to some of the terrain makers to "donate" terrain for a table or two an we could advertise the table as being their stuff. A table by Warsenal, one by burned-in, etc.

Warsenal is putting together a table at wholesale. Ill have more info in a couple of weeks. That will probably be used for demos.

Maki games may be throwing one in through Adepticon.

I have a logo design program I just haven't been in the city to grab it.

I asked for another table for the big game so, 10 more slots should open up. For minis we'll need an painted avatar, skiavaros, HMG chronotid and two imetrons. I should have more than enough morats for the two games.

Looking for a printer to print the QuickStart rules, I asked CB for 1,000 to 1,500 for the swag bags. Shipping would be brutal for them so they're looking for a local printer.

Any suggestions?

The shirt came in today. It's nice, it's not as dark as the pic shows. The accent color is the same as the blue in the Chicago flag. If I can make it to the Draxtar tourney next week I'll bring it.



Now for the logo

sorry I haven't been able look into a logo at all. I like that shirt. I think I looked up their site too. I couldn't find any that could do specific colors unfortunately.
