Hey guys, My name is Danny Seaton. A few of you might remember me from BitS--I picked up infinity after playing a couple demo games there. I say this only because this might be a dumb question that has been FAQ'd or is stated right in the book and I'm just not reading it right.
So, my question is this: If I make a linked team of 3 Pretas (who are Extremely Impetuous and Irregular) and an Oznat, can I use the Pretas' irregular orders to move the entire linked team? Or only the Oznats regular order and any other regular orders from the same battle group?

If you start the turn in the link, the pretas orders will be converted to regular and they'll lose the impetuous state/orders. If you create the link after the order pool has been calculated you only have the regular orders that are available in your pool. In your example of three pretas and oznat being the only thing in the group they'd only have the one regular order from the oznat
Welcome to the group! What's BitS?

Another thing to add, Irregular orders are spent on the model itself. So if you had Irregular orders from the Pretas and want to spend them on the link, you will not be able to. Instead, that Irregular order is spent on one Preta itself and would then get kicked out of the link.

Welcome to the group! What's BitS? BitS is Blood in the Sun, a warhammer tournament that took place earlier in the summer. The first night I played a few games of Infinity and loved it. Bought myself operation: icestorm that night. Thanks for all your help guys.

Awesome, I wanted to go to that but was out of town. Glad you enjoyed the game. We have a table signed out at Games plus on Tuesday evenings. There's terrain in a black and orange bin just for infinity.
