Hello There!
I live in West Chicago and have been trying to get into Infinity the past year. I have the Operation Icestorm starter set, with the Ariadna starter set coming (of course) along with a bunch of other miniatures and Warsenal terrain. I have just had a hard time finding committed players in this area. I have a couple of other guys interested, but only know a few of the rules. I am trying to find some people that know the rules well that may be able to play out at Draxtar Games in Batavia. Is there anyone who plays in this area or is it mainly in Chicago/Games Plus area? Thanks!

Most of the time our meetups are at G+ but there are several of us in the area. I live in lisle and work in Wheaton.

Krog is out that way. There's a little bit of history with this group and Draxtar, which is why we don't get out there.

Ah...I thought it was curious that Infinity wasn't out at Draxtar more especially since it is such a great game. That is really too bad as it is a nice place to play. I'll try to get to Games Plus when I can. I'll keep my eye out for a place in this area or if you guys get a game going out this way I'll see if I can make it. Thanks for the quick replies!

They also have a Miniature Game Night at Fair Game in Downers grove on thursdays.

There is a miniature game night at Kelpie Games (formerly New Game in Town) in DeKalb. We haven't been playing much Infinity lately but hopefully we will be starting it up again.

I'm also in Naperville. Have limited free time, but there's a presence in the area.
There's also a new game store in warrenville, no wargame presence but they have table space.

I'd like to get in on this. I play warmachine at Draxtar, but want a second game to play and Infinity looks like the one for me. I have zero models, etc, but want to play a few games before I commit to a faction. I'm more available on weekends, but can arrange weeknights on a case by case. I'm in Winfield.

I can't make weekend plans this far out from the weekend. But Moon, do you have enough figs for both of us to play? This would be more of a demo game or two, rather than serious competitive play...

Oh, probably the PanOs, or maybe Yu Jing. I go between high quality, low model count armies and armies with lots of movement shenanigans.
