As much as I love the buildings we are doing, I’d also like to see some nature type tables. Something we can do terrain rules like Mountain, Swamp, etc. Almost a Paradiso and Svlarheima themed table.
On the other end, I’m thinking of the whole table being the inside of a space ship hanger bay with a lot of scatter terrain and scaffolds. Maybe even a vehicle or something in the hangar too.

Well, that last is part of what the table from adepticon 2014 Sunday was about. The bays there are 18"x18". Almost a quarter of a table per bay.

Ya their is a lot of different themed table you can do one thing one other friend of mine hand mentioned was a lager hanger type bay in the middle of the table and then on each side 2 or 3 stories of the space ship that overlook the hanger bay or are ways in and out of it. make like the 12" deployment areas mostly rooms and cover and then a large open bay in the middle that you have to fight over.

If this is the way people to go for next year, I think it would be easy/cheap to get a few adaptor collar or airlock pieces cut. This way we can attach the bug hunt and other corridors to exsiting doors on the 18x18 large bays. Multiple level corridors are then achieved by cutting out foam insulation to size and placing these under the corridors.

Like the whole table is the floor of a hangar bay. Most of the terrain would be scatter terrain, maybe a small vehicle, an office area, etc. Here's a scale model of Battlestar Galactica hangar. 666kb.com/i/bcy9j2eux7bw6pa31.jpg

Congrats to nova getting CB to come out.
From Certs post
Something exciting is in the works. Exciting enough that when I got the news, I ran all the way home Charlie and the Chocolate Factory style.
Corvus Belli will be attending the NOVA Open!
Here's what has been passed to me by MVBrandt from his conversation with CB.
Similar to last year, all of the Nova Swag bags that attendees get when they check in will include the 3rd edition Quick Start Rules booklets, similar to last year. Love that this means all the guys attending for the other games getting a QSR too.
We will have "lots" of signed/art-done-in 3rd Edition main rulebooks to include in the event prize packs.
They will be doing a seminar. Supposedly, it will be about 3rd edition and other new releases. In addition, they've confirmed that there will be a 'first in world' announcement made at Nova which they won't talk about at GenCon. The current event schedule may get adjusted to accommodate this seminar.
They'll also be hanging out in the Nova Lounge after-hours to talk about whatever. Reminder: the Nova Open Lounge, located upstairs, will have on sale $3-5 craft beers and $4-7 wine/cocktails, with all proceeds going to charity. There'll be a number of free lectures/seminars there (which CB will be a part of) and is open from 11am to last call at 1:30am.
So, yeah, I don't know about you guys but I'm super stoked.
Now, just to wait and see what other details get released about that, like what their plans are during the day - IE whether they'll just hang out in our event hall during the tournaments or if they'll have a booth in the main hall. Shrug, we'll figure it out what to do once I've found out more details on what their plans are.
I'm done with them.

I'm not sure what it is. Bill said feast paid them to come. Maybe nova's doing the same.

I have to imagine that they are footing the bill for either their flight or their hotel to make them come out to those events. I really can't see any other reasons for it.

So I'm picking up a 40k sized collection of knights
To use said knights I'm thinking of a 3 on 3 big game that has the knights escorting " infected" across a haqqislam city.
The knight players each have a premade list and one infected to get across a 4x8 the long way
The haqqislam players each have a premade list and are attempting to prevent this from happening.
Each infected is escorted by a synced hospitaller dr. They may spend no more than 3 orders on the dr and infected per turn.
The haqqislam armies will have a large amount of daylami and other irregular troops.
Game lasts 7 turns.
Whatcha guys think?

Why Haqqislam? Are you trying to make it like the crusades or something? Story wise i don't like it but the scenario sounds good.
If anything I think it would be the other way since Haqqislam are the Doctors maybe trying to cure the infected by getting them to a hospital or something. While the Knights are trying to burn them as infected heretics or something.

They are infected by a new virus knights want to cure them. Haqq wants the virus for biotech research.
