Hi Tim,
Hellcats (and Tsyklon Sputnik REMs) are what drew me to the Nomads force as well. To the point where I bought what I liked and didn't bother with the starter.
"Competetive" Infinity is nothing like tourney 40k, Warmachine or the like. It's much more laid back and people are above all friendly and helpful.
Personally, I love the sleight-of-hand play that you can get with Nomads, but I'm dipping into PanO and Yu Jing as well.

Yes! That. Those who can make it are going to slave away build terrain.

Are you going to be able to overcome the fear of John's basement?

Hey all, wanted to introduce myself. I'm Brian Carlson and am pretty active in the Games Workshop community. I really got the Infinity bug about a year ago and fell in love with the Ariadna miniatures, especially the Merovingians. Now that Adepticon is done, I'd like to focus on getting some kickass terrain done as well as getting a sizable force painted. Feel free to follow my blog at Brian Carlson Miniatures. I live out in Bartlett, and probably the closest gaming store is Draxtar, although I'm not terribly far away from Games Plus. My goal is to get 4 solid tables worth of Infinity so I can host some fun beer, bbq and Infinity action.
Here's my first crack at painting some Infinity: Loup-Garous
My stab at a order tracker / dice box: Dice Tray
Really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting some games in!
Cheers,
Brian

Welcome Brian.
We just had a tournament at draxtar this last weekend.
There are several if us that have a decent amount of terrain. I'm have 3 tables, and John has somewhere between 10 and 15 tables. The majority of the tables at adepticon were johns.

Hi Brian,
Glad to have another player in the area. While I live and mostly play in the Sycamore/DeKalb area I am down in the Schaumburg area (by the airport) most weekends. If you are up for a game sometime drop me a line.
Of course by looking at your minis I would be embarrased to put my painted stuff out on the board. Your stuff looks great!

Welcome Brian!
Your Garous look amazing.
Drax is close by to many of us, (myself included0 but they get a lot of 40k tournaments now that the Bunker's closed, which can impact table space. Plus is still our technical home base. Though John's house has been mentioned as an alternate at some point.

Hello everyone, I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Alexander Arsenty, and I am rather active in the Warmahordes community but looking to get more into Infinity as well. Started to get items for both games when I dropped 40k and Fantasy as my main games, but had trouble finding a right time and group for Infinity until I heard about this forum on Saturday. Currently have a PanO force that is almost painted up, and got it since I like the look of the Knight models and the Paramilitary fusiliers.
I usually go to Games Plus on the weekends (well, I have been busy with school and that so it has been on and off, but I plan to frequent again soon).

As we appear to have a some recent new members and I have seen like 6 people picking up infinity at Plus in the last few weeks, should we try to get an organized non-ITS day to meet-up and play?
