Hey folks! This is Tim from the St. Louis area, though i actually live in Columbia IL. We're starting up our own Escalation League here next week, and Kevin (Chronowraith) and I hope to really grow the community down here. I currently play Vanilla Yu Jing and JSA, building up ISS and venturing into Nomads. Met a bunch of you up at Adepticon this year I also run the Miniature Tim blog at miniaturetim.blogspot.com

Good to see you here Tim. Our board and facebook seems to be picking up again after the pre-Adepticon slump from everyone being busy, and that is a good thing. -zach

Hi everyone, I started posting right away before introducing myself!
My name is Chris and I'm a long time Warhammer Fantasy player (High Elves, Orcs & Goblins and more recently Daemons) and just picked up Infinity after seeing it Adepticon. The table playing Akira left me little choice - simply amazing. I've started with Imperial Service Yu Jing and have two intro games under my belt! Looking forward to everything Infinity has to offer.
I live up in Lake county in a town called Volo, located between Wauconda, McHenry and Grayslake. Our local store is Unique Gifts & Games, and Games Plus isn't too far either.

Hello everyone. My name is Scott and I'm from the southeastern area of Illinois. I play the alephs and the areas that I lived at before had a heavy play of infinity. The area here has little if none that I can find to play or even stores that even sell the items. If there is any players I would like to meet up with and if you have a group I would like to meet them too. Most days are easy for me to play, I just need to know when and the where.

Hey Scott! What area of southeastern Illinois? Effingham? Mattoon? What meta did you move from? Welcome to the group!

I've heard a lot about Rumble on Rt. 66 & Texas meta from various podcasts. Texas definitely likes it's Infinity! Welcome to Illinois! I'm still a fairly new player. We've got some really great players in the Chicago area. The St. Lours guys are awesome. Neither is really close for weekly gaming, but they're not too far away to travel for tournaments.

Well now I moved to Terre Haute, IN. Is there any groups that are close by? Also on another side note I'm looking for someone who has some spare parts that they are willing to sell. My cats wanted to play with them and broke and lost them. I'm looking for a right sniper arm on human proxy, and the the wall she sits on. Also need the right arm and the left antenna for the yudbot, and the arm for the hacking on the Dasyus hacker. If any doesn't have any of the parks, please let me know where I can get them.

Welcome aboard, sorry, can't help with the spare parts. Are you closer to Indianapolis or St Louis? There's decent sized groups down that way. They both have groups on Facebook.

I might as well formally introduce myself to the board. My name is clearly Tim, and I live in the western suburbs of Chicago. I just ordered my PanO stuff (starter pack, guarda do assalto, auxilia, aquila guard) which should be to me in a week or so. After they arrive and I've assembled them, I'm hoping to get some regular games in. Reading the rulebook is fine, but it's no replacement for table time.
My gaming history is pretty simple. Started with Avalon Hill bookcase games, tricked my high school history professor into giving me extra credit for reenacting the battle of Austerlitz, transitioned into GW games in college. These days I play Warmahordes, but I've been looking for an sf skirmish game for a while now. Did a demo at Gencon this year and feel like Infinity might be it.
